Visit exquisitely beautiful destinations and explore uncharted terrain with Campervans in New Zealand.
If you want to chill out with your kids and unwind in the spas and heated pools, Waiwera Hot Pools are a splendid option. Travel around Matakana with your Campervan and sample the extraordinary wine and tempting local wares.
After a short bush walk in Whale Bay, Tutukaka Coast you will arrive at an isolated pohutukawa fringed bay which is simply breathtaking. For its famous tavern and cheese shop, a stopover at Puhoi is a must.
On your New Zealand Holiday, there are lots of places to visit and many activities to take part in. Witness the sheer loveliness of nature on Leigh and Goat Island with day trips to Goat Island and unforgettable glass bottom boat tours.
I visited New Zealand during the winter which presented the perfect occasion to stopover at Snow Planet. This is the initial and only indoor ski field in New Zealand where you can enjoy snowboarding or skiing throughout the year. Traverse the terrain park, enjoy invaluable lessons or simply settle down in the superb restaurant and bar.
I realized that the best way to explore the Bay of Islands is via a yacht. Sailing trips are ideally attuned with the pace of the region. Set off on a memorable cruise from Paihia, Kerikeri, Opua or Russell and discover the charm of this exquisite marine wonderland. Experience the thrills of diving, snorkelling, swimming and fishing around the gorgeous Bay of Islands on your holiday with New Zealand Campervans.
On a trip to this scenic country how can you overlook the kauri? Northland has the largest residual kauri trees throughout New Zealand. With Campervans NZ this is definitely a must visit spot.
The Waihoanga Gorge Kauri Walk is a pleasant instance of how neighbouring landowners toil with the Department of Conservation to safeguard the ecosystem of these stately trees and their surroundings.
I discovered a nice track in the Puketi Forest after crossing the Waihoanga Stream and a bit of private farmland. Here, you will get exquisite views of the gorge displaying the Pirau Fault and Waterfall. The walk steadily winds underneath a diverse array of incredible forest species such as taraire, puriri, virgin kauri trees and nikau prior to going towards a wonderful kauri grove.
The final destination on my Campervan New Zealand Holiday was Matauri Bay, a famed horseshoe-shaped inlet about half an hour from Kerikeri. Matauri Bay has a tiny camping ground which is quite popular during the summer. It’s a stunning spot, ideal for fishing, swimming and diving. I had a great time here and experienced a traditional Kiwi summer with appetizing barbecues on the beach.
Relax on the gorgeous beach or kayak near the Cavalli Islands searching for a succulent mussel or cray. If you love scuba diving, a dive tour to the famous Rainbow Warrior wreck is a must.
Hire a Campervan and enjoy a fascinating New Zealand Holiday. There is nothing like the sensation of the soft white sand under your feet. Go underwater and glimpse the depths of the stunningly blue waters. Enjoy your holiday just the way you want to.
