Enjoy a thrilling campervan hire holiday in picturesque New Zealand

New Zealand is an unbelievably scenic country and offers never-ending opportunities for an exciting adventure holiday. Set out on an exhilarating holiday and experience the excitement of the amazing Sky Jump, Auckland’s Sky Tower and cage diving with the white sharks in Invercargill. Explore unique destinations from the pinnacle of the North Island to the South Island on your Campervan NZ holiday.

There is a lot of diversity in this beautiful country with its unique landscape. On my New Zealand Campervan holiday I was awestruck by the lavish rainforests, sandy beaches and active volcanoes located close by. There are also wintry mountain peaks, outstanding fiords and glaciers in this spectacular landscape. You can enjoy a serene or adventure-filled holiday depending on your requirements.

Set out on this exciting trip with Campervan Rental New Zealand and capture the essence of this beautiful country.

From Auckland I set out towards the north and enjoyed a twilight walk in the Waipoua Kauri rainforest. My next destination was Paihia and eventually the Bay of Islands where I enjoyed a delightful dip with the dolphins and a leisurely walk towards the Haruru Falls. The next stop on my Campervan New Zealand trip was Rotorua with its incredible geysers, hot springs, boiling mud pools as well as multi-hued mineral terraces. When I glimpsed this astonishing geothermal activity I realized that I was actually on the Pacific Rim of Fire. The Maori tradition is quite evident in Rotorua and I also visited a genuine pre-European Maori village and savoured the delicious food prepared in a Maori earth oven or a ‘hangi’.

After this, I journeyed from the beautiful North towards the South Island. I sailed through the Marlborough Sounds and enjoyed a memorable guided hike over the ice and rock at the renowned Fox Glacier. This extraordinary natural phenomenon is an extended river of ice that commences 8,500 feet in the Alps and ends close to the sea within the lush rainforest.

On the next day of my New Zealand Campervan Rental holiday I travelled through the Fiordland National Park towards Milford Sound to glimpse the endearing seals, dolphins and penguins. Fiordland is among the most breathtakingly beautiful regions of New Zealand and is a well-known World Heritage Site. Here, you will find virtually untouched rainforests and the glaciers have fashioned deep fiords in the amazing landscape.

On my Campervan New Zealand holiday I was enthralled when I glimpsed the splendid Aoraki Mount Cook over the dazzling waters of Lake Pukaki which is also a famous World Heritage site.

Fox and Franz Josef Glacier are located in the South Island’s scenic West Coast and are among the most accessible glaciers worldwide. Get on the ice and set out on a guided tour of these amazing natural wonders for a one-off experience.

I had a wonderful time on my New Zealand Campervan Rental holiday and visited beautiful destinations. Plan your trip well in advance and enjoy an economical yet exciting Motorhome Hire New Zealand holiday.
