Six people can enjoy excitement, adventure and all the comforts of home when travelling around New Zealand in the Freedom Path Explorer campervan. The Path Explorer features a permanent double bed over the driver's cabin, and large queen size bed that converts from the dining area plus another double bed. The vehicle offers many quality features including fridge, gas heater, gas stove, microwave, pressurized hot and cold water, shower and toilet. The living equipment is all on board as well, with crockery, cutlery, duvets, linen, towels, pillows and more all provided. A CD/radio in the driver's cabin and heating throughout add to the enjoyment. It's a great way to see the real New Zealand.

LIVING:
Fridge: 80 Litres. The fridge operates on 12 volts and 240 volts when connected to a camping ground and is switched on the by the control knob inside the fridge compartment and a switch in the overhead locker. The fridge will not operate if the house battery is flat.

Gas cooker: This vehicle is equipped with a 4 burner cooker. The gas must be turned on outside first and is then ignited at the cooker hob.

Gas bottle: The gas bottle is located inside a locker on the right hand side. The gas bottle can be filled at most fuel stations. Please do not exchange our gas bottles, but fill our bottles.

Heating: This vehicle has been equipped with a diesel operated space heater. To operate simply use the left hand dial on the control panel located at the right hand rear. The left hand knob is used to select the applicance, and the right hand knob controls the temperature requirements. Please note the water and space heater can be used separately or together, please chose the required setting on the control panel. Heating is available in the front cab when the engine is running.

Microwave: The microwave will only operate when plugged into 240 volt power at a campsite.

Hot Water Supply: This vehicle has been equipped with a diesel operated hot water unit. To operate simply use the left hand dial on the control panel located at the right hand rear. The left hand knob is used to select the appliance, and the right hand knob controls the temperature requirements. Please note the water and space heater can be used separately or together you only need to choose the required setting on the control panel.

Fresh Water tank: This vehicle has a 75 litre fresh water tank located on the left hand side by the passenger door. It is recommended to fill this tank daily. In the case of the tank running dry, connect hose to water supply and tank whist filling the tank. Switch the pump and tank on to clear air lock until water flows. When the water tank is not un use or when driving, turn the water switch to off.

Grey Water tank: This vehicle holds 85 litres grey water. To empty, place the hose on to the valve located on the right hand side of the vehicle and open valve. It is recommended to empty grey water daily.

Interior Lights: The lights in the vehicle are 12 volt and the switches are located on the light fittings.

Power Supply: This vehicle is equipped with two separate electrical circuits, the primary one being 240 volt mains power, whilst the secondary is a 12 volt battery. Simply connect the power cable, which is stored in the outside locker on the right side of the vehicle, and connect to the campground. Please do not use mobile generators as damage may result.
